Lake’s Current Landscape and Ecological Resilience

The initiation of the Mayem Lake Resort by the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has contributed to the area, providing accommodations for tourists making their exploration of the spot hassle-free.
Despite the challenges, such as mining silt as a result of extensive iron ore mining and ecosystem degradation, the place still serves as a tranquil space for the visitors to spend their quality time together enjoying the nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
